29 August 2011
Woke up early as usual on monday,7:30 am but was still too tired. Left to college before 8. On the way saw a bunch of Africans arguing with a what looks like a Philippine girl. Wondered why nobody called the police. It was so loud I could hear it from half a block a way. First class, Programming Principles, act like a pro by answering so many programming related things. Probably because I think like a computer.
Second class, Web Fundamentals. Did most of the work on my own, we were given a lot of text and we were supposed to make it look like what was displayed on the screen. Managed to do almost all on my own. The person sitting beside me, some foreigner, couldn't do anything. She didnt understand HTML nor simple programming or even simple computer stuff such as zip files. Good thing is i was there to teach her. Not fed up.
Lunch, went out with some of the SUAC members. Had lunch at Medan nearby. Ate one of the worst wan ton mee. I had noodles with shredded chicken. The noodles was dry and hard, i had to pour soup nonstop onto it. We talked for long and i was almost 15 mins late for class. Didnt know the time again.
Computer Organisation class, did some logic gates lab work. Nothing much.
Came home and slept for a while. Woke up and spent a few rounds in LoL then off for dinner.

[TUT]How to earn money online without any startup.
Alright folks, since Im sure you guys spend a lotta time online doing whatever stuff you have, why not use this to earn some extra bucks. Im gonna share some links with you guys. Please use my links because it has my referral link there. It will give me some incentives for you joining those sites.
First of all, you need to find out what are the requirements of some of the sites.
Says.my
This site gives you money based on pay-per-click method. Basically, its easy to setup if you have a facebook or twitter account. All you have to do is share advertisements with the unique link given by each advertisement. When someone(other than you) clicks the link, you will be paid some money based on how much their offering(normally RM0.20). Other than that, there are rare surveys which you can fill you can do to earn some extra bucks. From what ive seen, they pay RM0.50-RM5.00 depending on survey.
How does it work? You just need to create an account here. After creating an account, you will be given advertisements which you can share.
Total rewards are the total amount the company will be releasing to the people.
For you is the maximum amount you can get for sharing that advertisement.
Per unique visit shows the amount paid per click.
Conclusion:
If you have a large friends list and you don't mind turning your social networking account into an advertisement sharing source too then go ahead with it. Cash out is at RM50 by sending cheque to you. They pay RM1.00 per referral too after completing their "mission"(basically the first 3 referrals who join don't count)
Survey Savvy
A survey site where they pay you for filling surveys. Basically after registering here, you have to fill in portrait surveys which allows the company to decide which surveys suit you. I can't say much since this survey hasn't given me any surveys.
My Survey
Similar to Survey Savvy except they use points system. As far as I know, they don't give cash. Points can be exchanged for vouchers for McDanalds, Jusco, KFC/Pizza Hut/Ayamas, MPH, Isetan and Parkson vouchers. I also haven't received any surveys from them.
Global Test Market
Just another survey site like the rest. This one uses Market Points. 1000 Market Points = $50. That is the required amount to cash out. So far I have received 2 surveys from them, one of them I was screen out, meaning they gave me a survey but after answering a few questions then they realized I was not fit for the survey thus rewarding me for only the minimum amount of 5 Market Points. Another survey which I received was a long one which took me about 20-30 minutes but only gave me the maximum of 35 Market Points. After calculations, every Market Point is worth $0.05.
Conclusion, I think its a popular one to be able to give more surveys to people not from the US.
Shout!Box
In my opinion, MOST USELESS. From what they said:
Conclusion:
Don't bother. They also don't have referrals system.
Survey Head
By just joining this site, they pay you $5.00. By completing your profile surveys, you have earned another $1.00. Nice eh? However, to cash out you need $25.00 at least and i think its through paypal. No surveys received yet. No referral system.
Conclusion:
Quick early payments.
http://www.surveyhead.com
Tech-Facts
Not satisfied with $5 by joining? How about $10? However after filling up their profile surveys, you only get $0.90 not $1.00. The site is exactly the same as Survey Head.
Conclusion:
More initial money.

Cash Create
Ever thought that you could get paid for testing a product? How about earning rebates by shopping? You can do them all in Cash Create. An online site where you can earn money by testing products, completing surveys and more. Cash create has 2 system which are cash and points. Cash is what you earn while points is what you can exchange for vouchers and more. You can earn points easily here. Even by helping out in their community, you earn points. It really encourages people to be active. However some of their offers involves you using money but it has a higher payout rate. Example: there's one which requires you to deposit $10.00 but you will get $15.00 in return. Don't forget to click the submit button or you may not earn the money. Referrals are also available where referrals will allow their referrer to earn some money on top of what you earn. They have several levels of referrals which are:
Conclusion:
I think its a really great site especially when you can get lots of people to join you.

Final words:
Will update when I find more info. Thank you if you become a referral of mine. I really appreciate it.
First of all, you need to find out what are the requirements of some of the sites.
- How do I earn money from this site?
Surveys? Advertisements? Testing new products?
Warning!!! Don't bluf your way in your surveys because the survey companies can forfeit paying you if they think you cheat in surveys. Another thing with survey companies is they tend to have a timer where they check how long you take to finish a survey. If too short, they will say you skimmed it and will give you the minimum pay or forfeit it. - What do I need?
- How frequent do I earn money?
- How much do I need to cash out?
- Referrals? Bonus?

[EVENTS] MONO's Concert
Rush rush rush rush.
Had a quick dinner at popeyes and rushed cuz we were already late.
Luckily when we queued up and enter, we still got almost to the front. Still good, or rather lucky.
After a while, the first band, AKTA ANGKASA played. Didnt like their music that well because if you can translate instrumental music into vocals, it has what I would classify as badly arranged lyrics and constant recycling the same words except having different words o form that line. The band was a 4 person band where you have a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboardist(which was a girl) and a drummer.
Next was CITIZENS OF ICE CREAM. I was actually quite impressed with their music as i didnt expect it to be that good. Their music was arranged to revolve around the keyboardist(thats what I think). Probably will get their album soon. Oh yah, their keyboardist was damn good.
Lastly was FURNITURE. Music, meh. Vocals? Ok I will now get into the main issue here. The sound guy should get sacked. Basically, the person who was in-charged with the sound system has a liking to up the sounds for guitars until it eats into everything else. So for the first band, they had to call them to change the volumes after each song. Second band for first few songs. For Furniture however, they were the only band which sung. Sad to say, the vocals were swallowed up by the music until you can see the main singer opening his mouth but no sound could be heard coming out.
When MONO came out, I predicted the first song they will play would be Ashes In The Snow. Sure enough they did. Follow the Map and another song from the album Hymn to the Immortal Wind. Can tell what some of the tracks were. Then, I told by brothers, "I hope they will play Moonlight". Sure enough they did play that as their next song.
That was their last song. Then the band proceeded to leave the stage. The crowd started shouting "We want more!". After constant efforts, one of the Soundscape guys went on stage and told the guy in-charged of the lights to cut the lights. He did. However, the lights at the entrance to the stage was bright enough where people could see the band pop up. They came onto the stage and actually spoke to the crowd. I guessed they came back to play a bonus track which I predicted would be Everlasting Light. Sure enough they did.
Overall, the concert was worth the RM100. Oh yah, I picked up 3 picks. 1 was on the synthesizer, 2 were on the floor below the stage. My guess, the first one i picked up was used by MONO. How to guess which one(they got mixed up)? I guess its the one which is most warned off. However, I was very disappointed with the sound guy because even MONO were communicating with each other and telling the Soundscape guys that the volumes needed adjusting(several times).
